Left Behind!

8 children left behind after their mothers were murdered right before their eyes by a man involved with one of the women.  What will it take for women to stop putting their children at risk with unhealthy relationships.  Its often stated, I’m just trying to keep food on the table and a roof over their head.  Well the cost is to high… is there another way?

And Who’s Watching the kids?

The woman down the street, my boyfriend, we’ve known him for about 2years and he’s been like a grandfather to our son.  She said, “I’ve got to work.”   That’s like leaving a child in a locked car in Texas heat. What would you do?

Wisdom

In the Book of Proverbs , “ Wisdom” is referenced 119 times. In chaper 1 of this book, we learn that wisdom has a prerequisite. A prerequisite is, a condition that is required in order for something else to happen. The prerequisite is that the beginning of knowledge is wisdom. In other words to know wisdom is to gain the knowledge of it, then to understand the knowledge in a practical way, and finally to teach to other what you have learned fairly and impartially.

The proverb of Solomon the son of David, the king of Israel; 2 To know wisdom and instruction; to precieve the words of understanding; 3 To recieve the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgement and equity;

Proverbs 1:1-3 KJV

Passion

There once lived a young man in the first century of believers, who knew his purpose for living. Everywhere he went he demonstrated his purpose as a master teacher. He taught teachers, he was a guide to women and he qualified those who no one else cared to teach. He listened to the latest happenings in his culture and shared wisdom to all who would be mentor. He taught that all persons had an assignment uniquely designed for them.  He showed genuine concern for those who wanted to learn.  He trained 12 men and women who required the knowledge he freely shared. His followers grew in understanding their purposes. Passion is greater than a feeling. It’s greater that a notion. It is the reason you live. This young man’s purpose was directly tied to his passion, as is yours.  His passion was to show everyone he met how to live a life of freedom.  Ask yourself, and be honest…What are you passionate about? Are you willing to share what you’ve learned?

To learn more about this man read Mathew 16:21

3 Verbal Judo Principles

  1. Say what you want.  “Take your hands off me!”
  2. Use your command voice.  NO! or CALL THE POLICE!
  3. All language MUST say the SAME thing.                                                                              NO!  should always mean NO! not maybe or let me think about it.

Is this something that you do, if not, why?
